Urbano (Portugal, 1959) studied printmaking at the Slade School of Fine Art in London between 1995 and 1997. By 2025, he had held 51 solo exhibitions and taken part in more than 100 group shows. In 2015, he was awarded the Autonomous Insignia of Recognition by the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. Represented by Galeria 111 since 1997, he has published several books dedicated to his work.
