Andreas Breunig (1983, born in Ebersbach, lives and works in Düsseldorf) works with oil, acrylic, graphite, and charcoal. Instead of reduction, his focus is on the maximization of expressive possibilities. Due to the simultaneity of such surface phenomena, the boundaries of painting, photography, and print become just as blurred as the attributions of original, copy, and reproduction.
