After the set of works in a cycle on the seven deadly sins, I now focus on the seven virtues, projects that counteract the excesses of the works of lust, vanity, anger, envy, sloth and greed.
The drawings presented here reveal the tension existing in memory, the third virtue: Mercy-Seven Virtues, is a travelogue in HD 48 in solitary in the desert of the taverns in Almeria, Spain. Contemplation of nature and space/time, empty and hot physical space, which I associate with the social tension of human madness and reason. The subjective and mental reality I lived in the present moment and the reality in the representation of the photographs taken in loco. The disturbing power of the silence of these landscapes is sublime. These drawings where words blend to create lines and shapes of my presence are a vortex of transgressions of my relationship about memory and the moment. There is no restraint in this obsession of gesture that I give to the Bic pen, a refuge that allows me to be free in a timeless space.
