Drawing Room Lisboa ends its 6th edition with a record number of visitors: 8,400 people visited the fair dedicated to contemporary drawing, including professionals, school and university students and the general public.

Drawing Room Lisboa took place from the 25th to the 29th of October and was attended by 23 national and international galleries, representing more than 65 artists and, together with its partners, it also scheduled 12 conversations and launches, and awarded 6 prizes : FLAD Drawing Award for artist Carla Filipe; Fundação Millennium bcp Award – Outstanding Artistic Project for the artist Gabriel Albergaria represented by Galeria Vera Cortês; Millennium bcp Foundation Acquisition Prize – Emerging Talent for artist Katarzyna Pacholik from Galeria Silvestre; Millennium bcp Foundation Award – Gallery Curatorial Project for Galeria das Salgadeiras; Viarco New Talent Drawing Award for Catalina Julve; and the National Press Acquisition Award for the artists Mafalda Santos, represented by Galeria Presença and Rui Neiva, represented by No-No Gallery.

Also in this edition, the Lisbon City Council, under the plan of its Contemporary Art Acquisition Fund, acquired at the Fair three works by the following artists: Susana Gaudêncio, represented by Galeria Carlos Carvalho, Mariana Barrote and Diana Policarpo & Odete da Galeria Lehmann + Silva from Porto. These acquisitions reinforce the historic partnership that Drawing Room has maintained with CML since its first edition.
