FLAD Drawing Award 2025. Applications Open

Applications for the FLAD DRAWING ROOM Lisbon Drawing Award 2025 are open between April 15th and May 15th. FLAD will award 20 thousand euros to the best work in the area of ​​design in Portugal. In this year’s edition, artists aged 30 or over can now register and each finalist will receive a grant of €2,000 for the final exhibition at Drawing Room Lisboa.

Every year, the FLAD Drawing Award has received hundreds of entries from artists across the country. The works of artists Pedro Tropa, Maria Capelo, Carla Filipe and Rosa Baptista have already received awards.

The competition will take place in two phases. This year, for the first time, up to five finalists will be selected instead of ten, who will have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the 2025 edition of Drawing Room Lisboa, taking place between 23 and 26 October, at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes, in Lisbon. For this exhibition, each artist will have a production value of €2,000 available.

The selected artist will be announced on October 25th, during Drawing Room Lisboa, and will receive a cash prize worth 20 thousand euros.
