Her work is mainly nourished by the observation of nature and how human beings relate to it. Restless, intuitive and skillful. In her beginnings she develops an abstract work with great importance of emotion in the colour and how it reaches the viewer without the need to understand the concept of the work. After his stay in Berlin (Germany), he receives geometric influences and the distribution of colour in space, making his work an abstract geometry that will give rise to the geometric series “Nests”.
Currently Angela Mena continues to work and develop her pictorial process under the idea of not feeling trapped by her own language or, sometimes, as some artists say, under a pictorial brand. She puts the quality of the work and the strong feeling that leads her to make it before the discouragement of the continuation of what is already known.
