Ángela Sánchez holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her interest in drawing goes through an investigation that expresses itself with limited colours and relates it to other techniques, such as engraving and collage.
The imprint of our body on nature creates the abstract, circular, tangled profiles that characterize Ángela Sánchez’s work. In her works of the new Earth and Time series, the domain of drawing and its wide distribution of technical resources serve the idea of symbolically synthesizing the tendency to spirit and light, the form of existence represented in flowers and plants.
