These drawings by António Olaio start from the lyrics he writes and announce future possibilities of the perfomatic songs that cross his visual work and that are motivated by him.
“I don’t know what I was in my fourth incarnation”, “I’m scared to see inside of me”, “Lord what can you do for me?”, “No clouds, no trees, no bumblebees”, “Peter, Paul and Heinz”, are product of the diffused thought that appears to him every time he puts himself in the “making art mode”. The one who draws is the artist dislocating himself from his center. Maybe someone between him and the paper, here the paper pretending to be everything else…
