CARLOS CORREIA

Portugal, 1975

GALERÍA PEDRO OLIVEIRA

Since its inception, Carlos Correia’s painting — which today is based on a consistent body of work and continuous experimentation — has observed a common thread and evidenced a concern above all others: understanding the problem of space.

In fact, we know very well, even if most of the time we try to forget it, that even more than time, the central issue of all painting is space. That is, the imaginary invention of space.
