Cristòfol Pons’ (Ciudadela de Menorca, Espanha, 1981) work is an exaltation of radicalization processes against macrostructures of power. Pons attempts to question the status quo and consciously strip it away, highlighting its inherent corruption and exposing its mechanisms.
His work consists of a search that goes from the particular to the universal. The world of art appears as a transgressive mirror, as the scene of an art that has to appropriate its tools to enrich thought and use them to question who we are and what we do, from a radical vision that tests the limits of our understanding and provoke deep reflection.
