Eric Fok
Eric Fok’s (Macau, 1990) works are a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Using a technical pen and tea-aged paper, he integrates old maps with modern buildings. Fok’s works have a distinctly antique look and feel, rooted in the histories of his native Macau and Hong Kong, fused with early modern Portuguese and British colonial themes.
Fok completed his master’s degree at the Fine Arts Department of the National Taiwan University of Arts and his bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Fine Arts/Art Education at the Macao Polytechnic Institute (2013). She was a finalist for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2019.
