MODULO – CENTRO DIFUSOR DE ARTE
The empty space that surrounds the line and builds spatiality, its own and autonomous texture is the path developed by Fátima Frade Reis in this new series of Chinese ink drawings. In it, she continues to problematize line and space, as she did recently in exhibitions at the Geological Museum (2018), Museum of Silk and Territory (2019), National Costume Museum (2019), Ruy Fino Tapestry Museum (2021), Natural History Museum (2021), Centro Cultural Camões, in Luxembourg (2022), and made her selected at the Biennale de la Jeune Création Européenne 2019-21, Young Art Award Millennium Foundation BCP, Lisbon, 2019, XXI Cerveira International Art Biennial, (2020), and for the Award Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso, (2020). She lives and works in Lisbon.
