Lisboa, Portugal, 1967. Lives and works in Lisboa, Portugal.

His most recent works respond to a notion of productive crisis understood here in a broad sense: of institutional criticism, of his own pictorial knowledge and also of human language understood as another form of trap. Renouncing the use of a single style, which almost constitutes a heteronymy, faces the “factory of contemporary art” itself. Foucaultian heterotopia (the famous image of the pirate ship) is affirmed in the self-irony of the assertion that is always denounced as fatally implicated.
