GUILLERMO DE FOUCAULT
Spain, 1996
Until now, my work has been about how to develop a process through drawing. A process understood as a dynamic that responds to itself and encompasses different references, ideas, materials and time. Part of this work consists of an attempt to approach an object of desire that is defined, little by little, as the process progresses. This object of desire tends to remain hidden or to mimic the different imaginaries to which I resort, as an excuse or pretext to investigate the contradictions of technique, representation, or what the artistic act itself entails.
