Hernán Paganini presents a variety of formats and techniques crossed by drawing. From the stroke of a chalk to the edge of a cut-out. His work develops schemes of imaginative relationships with the utopian intention of finding a universal language hidden in the combination and denaturation of materials. Paganini generates images charged with energy, color and intensity that appear spontaneous, within a carefully designed composition.
Currently residing in Seattle (United States), he has participated in numerous international residencies such as El Ranchito, Matadero, Madrid, Spain (2015); Kiosko Galería, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (2016); Palo Alto Public Art Program, California, United States (2018); and Public Artist Roster Program of the Washington State Arts Commission, for the period 2018 – 2021.
