CARLOS CARVALHO – ARTE CONTEMPORÂNEA

The series  Linetrap starts from the idea that landscape is a mental elaboration and a cultural construction.  Landscape is an image, representation, an imagined space, a spatial and temporal montage based on a political and social idea. The artist stitches lines on a picture of an untouched natural landscape producing a drawing, imitating the human desire of construction and intervention on the territory.
