Pedro Calapez lives and works in Lisbon. The artist began taking part in exhibitions in the seventies and in 1982 he had his first solo exhibition. Pedro Calapez creates paintings that engage with space and influence our perception of architecture and the exhibition.
The artist has shown his work individually in galleries and museums all over the world. Highlighting, here, his participations in the Biennials of Sao Paulo (1987 and 1991) and Venice (1986).
