Vanessa Chrystie (UK, 1972). My work always stems from the need to draw attention to the current calamity in which we live, given the human capacity to destroy nature and beyond. I spend a lot of time observing our surroundings. I want to capture this feeling of life, light and peace, enveloping our bodies, as if we were immersed in it.
