The INCM Art Prizes will be awarded at the Drawing Room Lisbon

In 2025, the Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda (National Press) will undertake a new commitment to art: the publication of an annual monograph dedicated to one of the artists participating in the Drawing Room Lisbon.

The Imprensa Nacional, the editorial and cultural brand of the INCM – Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda (National Press), created an Art Award in 2023, continuing its mission to promote and preserve the heritage of the Portuguese language and culture. The award-winning artists were Mafalda Santos, represented by Galeria Presença, and Rui Neiva, represented by No.No Gallery. In 2024, the awards went to Fernanda Fragateiro, represented by Galeria Filomena Soares, Rodrigo Oliveira of Balcony – Contemporary Art Gallery, and Samuel Rama of Galeria 111.

The INCM Art Prize will be awarded at the Drawing Room Lisbon to Portuguese artists, with a value of up to €10,000. This award also represents the commitment that has been made by the public publisher in the various Portuguese art editions published every year through a set of collections: Art and Artists, Ph. Series (photography), D collection (design), in addition to art editions in partnership with other institutions and National Museums.
