Imprensa Nacional Art and Publishing Awards at Drawing Room 2026
Imprensa Nacional—the publishing and cultural brand of INCM (Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda de Portugal)—is sponsoring two awards at Drawing Room Lisboa 2026 for Portuguese artists participating in the fair, continuing its mission to promote and preserve the heritage of the Portuguese language and culture.
The awards consist of the INCM Art Award (featuring an acquisition valued at €10,000) and the Publishing Award (entailing the publication of a monograph on one of the fair’s artists). Both awards will be presented at Drawing Room Lisbon 2026 to artists participating in this edition; the book resulting from the 2025 Publishing Award—won by Tiago Batista—will also be unveiled.
These awards reflect the public publisher’s ongoing commitment to Portuguese art, demonstrated through its art collection and the various art-related titles published annually across several series: *Arte e Artistas* (Art and Artists), *Série Ph.* (photography), *Alta para Ensaio* (Art Brut), and *Coleção D* (design), as well as art publications produced in partnership with other institutions and national museums.
