The 7th edition of Drawing Room Lisboa returns from 23 to 27 of October, and renews its partnership with the City Council of the Portuguese capital.

For another year, Lisbon City Council confirms its support for the organization, communication and logistics of DR Lisboa, validating the quality and relevance of the contemporary art fair specializing in drawing.

Drawing Room Lisboa is pleased with the fact that the Lisbon City Council, within the scope of its Contemporary Art Acquisition Fund (FAAC), intends to expand its collection, acquiring works of art during the 7th edition of the fair.

The acquisition of works of art represents support for the Portuguese artistic sector, while simultaneously enhancing the municipality’s collection. This is the third time that Lisbon City Council has acquired works at Drawing Room Lisboa, which validates the fair’s growing affirmation in the contemporary art scene, as it stands as a contribution to creating opportunities for the artistic class dedicated to drawing and for confirmation of the space that drawing can occupy in the contemporary art sector.
