Katarzyna Pacholik

GALERÍA SILVESTRE

She lives and works in Granada, Spain.
Architect and artist, she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Lodz, Poland, in 2012. The artist’s work arises from the interest for the everyday, for the silent things that are present in our daily lives, but we pass by them without paying attention. Her drawings offer an invitation to stop and look at things as insignificant as a shadow on a sheet or a wave in the sea. In the contemplation of them, other more leisurely glances are opened, looking for beauty in the most simple and common things, with the result of an image close to silence, where shadow and light are confused, the clarity floats diffuse and where we lose the notion of time. A sensation of eternally unalterable permanence.
